Applications (App.) are invited for the posts mentioned below in Reserve Bank of India (RBI/Bank) from Indian citizens, citizens of Nepal and subjects of Bhutan, Tibetan refugees (who came over to India before 1st January 1962) and persons of Indian origin who have migrated from Myanmar and Sri Lanka with the intention of permanently settling in India and in whose favour Eligibility Certificates have been issued by Government of India.

1 Posts has been reserved for visually handicapped (VH) persons under the category of persons with Disability (PWD)

Pay Scale :

  • For Grade ‘A’ Officers: They will draw a starting basic pay of `17,100/-p.m. in the scale of `17,100- 1000(11)-28100-EB-1000(4)-32100-1100(1)-33200 applicable to Officers in Grade A.
  • For Grade ‘B’ Officers: They will draw a starting basic pay of `21,000/- p.m. in the scale of `21000- 1000-30000-EB-1000-32000-1100-36400 applicable to Officers in Grade B

HOW TO APPLY:

Candidates have to apply only On-Line through the Bank’s website i.e. www.rbi.org.in from 08.05-2013 to 07.06.2013. Detailed instructions for applying On-line are available on the website. Candidates need not submit the system generated print out (hard copy) of the On-Line application to the Board’s office.

Applications are invited from Indian Citizens and certain other categories of persons for appointments to the following posts. The details of the posts are as follows :

  • Legal Officers in Grade ‘B’ : 06 posts (UR-6, OBC-2), Qualification : Bachelor’s Degree in Law recognized by the Bar Council of India for the purpose of enrollment as an Advocate with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent (45% for SC/ST/HI), Age : 32 years. Relaxation as per rules, Pay Scale : Rs.21000-36400/-

Application Fee : Rs.100/- (no fee for SC/ST/PWD candidates) payable by Demand Draft favouring Reserve Bank of India and payable at Mumbai only. Candidates should write their names and addresses on the reverse of the Demand Draft.

How to Apply : Either apply OFF-line through a prescribed application format or apply On-line at the RBI website on or before 29/01/2013 11.59 PM. Take the print out of the system generated application or prescribed application format and should  be sent to The General Manager, RBI Services Board, Post Bag No. 4618, Mumbai Central Post Office, Mumbai-400008 by ordinary post on or before 05/02/2013.

1- Assistant Manager (Rajbhasha) Gr.’A’ :

* Qualifications :- Second Class Master’s Degree in Hindi/Hindi Translation, with English as one of the subjects at Bachelor’s Degree level. Second Class Master’s Degree in English with Hindi as one of the subjects at Bachelor’s Degree level.Second Class Master’s Degree in Sanskrit / Economics / Commerce with English and Hindi as subjects at Bachelor’s Degree level. (In lieu of a subject of Hindi at Bachelor’s Degree level, one may have recognized Hindi qualification equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree). Master’s Degree in both English and Hindi/Hindi Translation, of which one must be Second Class.
Desirable: Knowledge of bi-lingual word processing.
Experience : At least three years’ experience in coining of Glossary or English to Hindi translation and vice-versa in any National or State Level Weekly/ Newspaper or any Government/Semi-Government Office or any autonomous body/undertaking etc.
* No. Of Post : 07(UR-4, SC-1, OBC-2) Post.
* Age Limit : 30-32 years.
* Pay Scale : Rs.7200-19300/- Per Month

However, candidates from un-banked areas may pay fee by crossed Indian Postal Orders in favour of Reserve Bank of India payable at GPO, Mumbai. Candidates should write their Name and Address on the reverse of the Demand Draft and in the space provided for the purpose on the Postal Orders (if fee is payable).
