Position: Permanent
Experience: 1 – 10 years
Qualification: BE/BTECH/MTECH (CS/ECE/IS/EEE)
Skill set:
Extensive knowledge working Linux Operating System and Kernel
Good Experience of working with ARM / x86 processor
C Language programming skills
Experience / Exposure to General build system configuration (makefiles, etc.)
Knowledge of existing open source toolkits (GtK, Qt, etc.), Open source middleware frameworks -Audio/Video, Connectivity etc.,)
Knowledge of Linux flavors like Linaro, Android, MeeGo, Maemo, GENIVI, Montavista Linux
2. Job Code / Role: Linux Kernel and Driver Developer (Location: Bangalore/Coimbatore)
Position: Permanent
Experience: 2 – 5 years
Qualification: BE/BTECH/MTECH (CS/ECE)
Skill set:
More than 2 years of Linux embedded software development experience in the C/C++ language
Detailed Knowledge of: Familiarity with ARM processors. Understanding of USB, Serial, Bluetooth, Ethernet and other peripheral device drivers
Comfortable working with embedded hardware and tools such as JTAG debuggers (Lauterbach)
Knowledge in software Configuration Management using Clearcase is preferred
Responsibilities
Involved with all phases of the software development life cycle – requirements analysis, development, implementation, and testing
Designing new embedded Linux-driver and writing related specifications and design documents
Customizing and building Linux kernels, drivers and root file systems
3. Job Code / Role: Linux System Developer (Location: Bangalore)
Experience: 1 – 5 years
Qualification: BE/BTECH/M.TECH(CS/ECE/IS/EEE)
Skill set:
OS: Embedded Linux
Hardware: Experience of working with ARM / x86 processor
Software: C Language, Bash/Csh Shell-scripts
Knowledge of tool chains for embedded systems (cross-compilers, debuggers, etc.)
Experience / Exposure to any of the following:
Linux kernel build system
Device drivers
General build system configuration (makefiles, etc.)
Knowledge of existing open source toolkits (GtK, Qt, etc.), frameworks (Audio/Video frameworks like Alsa)
Knowledge of packaging types (rpm, deb, etc.)
Awareness of Open Source licensing models
