Qualifications for Contractual Positions(for one year) for Programmers and Techniciansin various Disciplines are as follows :

Qualification :

Programmer : First division B. Tech/BE(IT/CS) or MCA
Technicians (Engineering) : First division 3 years Engineering Diploma /BE /B. Tech.

Remuneration :

The proposed remuneration for programmers is as follows :

  1. Fresh B.Tech/BE(IT/CS) or MCA from recognized University with programming and system support skills : Rs.25000/- per month.
  2. B.Tech/BE(IT/CS) or MCA from recognized University with software development experience of 02 years or more and having programming and system support skills: Rs. 30000/= per month.

The proposed remuneration for technicians as per the desired qualifications shall be Rs.15000/= per month for the duration of the contract.

Important Dates and Instructions :

  • Release of Advertisement: April 20, 2013
  • Mode of Application submission: Online through portal at mnit.ac.in
  • The last date of submission of the online application is May 10, 2013
  • It may be noted that online application submission is mandatory. No written/typed applications shall be entertained.
  • A trade test for technicians and a written to assess programming and analytical ability of programmer shall be conducted.
  • Hard Copies generated by online submission system shall be brought with self-attested copies of relevant document at the time of trade/written test and/or interview.
  • Originals of relevant documents shall be brought at the time of trade/written test and/or interview for verification.
  • All the applicants shall keep checking the website regularly for updates.
  • MNIT Jaipur reserves the right to increase/decrease number of posts in any discipline without citing any reason.
  • MNIT Jaipur reserves the rightto shortlist the number of eligible candidates.
  • Merely satisfying minimum desirable qualification shall not entitle an applicant to call for interview.

Professors : 

Non Engineering Streams : Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry

Required : 

  • An  eminent  scholar  with  Ph.D.  qualification  in  the concerned/allied/relevant  discipline  and  published  work  of  high quality,  actively  engaged  in  research  with  evidence  of  published work with a minimum of 10 publications as books and/or research / policy  papers  in  indexed  /  ISBN/ISSN  numbered  journals  and/or ISBN/ISSN  numbered  books  and  the  University  developed ISBN/ISSN numbered list of journals/books hosted in the website of the concerned University. 
  • A minimum of 10 years of teaching experience of which atleast 5 years should  be  at  the  level  of  Associate Professor  in  university/college, and/or  experience  in  research  at  the University/National Level institutions/industries, including experience of guiding candidates for research at doctoral level.

Engineering Streams : Civil Engineering, Computer  Science  & Engineering, Electronics & Commn. Engg., Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Civil  &  Environmental Engineering, Material Science & Nano Technology, Metallurgy, Mining Engineering, Mining Machinery, Placement & Training.



Required : 

  • BE  / B Tech and ME  / M Tech  in  relevant  subject with First Class or  equivalent either  in  BE  /  B  Tech  or  ME  /  M  Tech  and  Ph.D.  or  equivalent  in  appropriate discipline.  
  • Post Ph.D. publications and guiding Ph.D. students is highly desirable. 

Experience :

  • Minimum  of  10  years  teaching  and/or  research  and/or  industrial  experience  of which at least 5 years should be at the level of Associate Professor  

Associate Professors :

English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Social Science (Env. Sc.)

Eligibility : Ph. D. with 5 years relevant experience.

Library & Information Sc.:

Master’s  degree  in  Library  Science/Information  Science  / Documentation  Science  with  at  least  55%  of  the  marks  or  its equivalent grade for 55%, where grading system is practiced.

Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical & Elect. Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Sc. & Technology, Civil & Environmental Engg., Mining Engineering, Mining Machinery, Material Science & Nano Technology, Transportation 

  • BE / B.Tech. and ME / M.Tech.  in relevant subject with First Class or equivalent either  in  BE  /  B.Tech.  or ME  / M.Tech.  and  Ph.D.  or  equivalent,  in  appropriate discipline  
  • Post Ph.D. publications and guiding Ph.D. student is highly desirable  

Experience: 

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in teaching and / or research and / or industry of which at least 2 years shall be post Ph.D is desirable.
